Yep, a salesman indeed.
I always tell people I don't sell gear. I will buy it for them or they can buy it. That way I'm not conflicted.
Morning Josey
Morning Josey. Hope the weather is giving you a break in the aches.
When I was in college a couple years back, one of the kids had a charger that the wire broke on. They all said "Just buy another one."
I told them it was just a wire that needed to be reattached & I could fix it right there. Someone had a screwdriver, took it apart, reattached the wire & fixed it in 10 mins. One of them commented "Would have been easier to just buy a new one." Never mind the fact I just saved someone the cost of a new charger. I know they're not that expensive nowadays, but that's just me, if it can be fixed & used more, then that's what I'll do.
Morning TC
In some US states they have laws or are trying to create laws along the lines of "Right to Repair". Way ahead of Canada.
We need it, some much stuff is just winding up in the landfills.
Yep, too much stuff is disposable & not made to last anymore.
@Caledon Ken & other folks, you might find this site interesting. They have guides for repairing a lot of things.
