Convenient, at least they make it easy to take your money.

Same thing here every year or 2, renew your tags, a little sticker you put on the license. You can do that at their automated kiosk now, which would be convenient save for the fact they're telling everyone that walks in to go to the kiosk, so there's a line to get to that now.

Well, I'm heading out too. Since my main Ext drive is getting up in years & I have 3 others that are newer, I'm backing up the contents of the main one to another one, like I should have done a while ago.

They used to have tax disks that you display on your windscreen. Now its all automatic. Police ANPR cameras link directly to the database so they can check you have paid.

My car is £0 rated and they still make me go through the process every year
