    Thanks guys.

I was really concerned about an accident. As we were cutting boards to get access to edge it was getting dicey. The original boards were on a diagonal so when you cut boards it really started getting loose.

We worked from the outer edge in, board by board until we have five new boards on in a section. Then blew away the deck in that section and replaced.

My wife might have a picture that shows elevation better.

    Afternoon and evening folks.

Well we broke the back of this job.

In three days we removed and replaced the decking. Everyone knows its been hot, brutally hot. We just finished up and it feels like 97F.

Have to get lumber replaced so we can finish. I need a couple of days off, this morning my wife forced me out of bed.

Thunderstorms expected next 24 hours, good reason to do nothing.
How come you did not stagger the joints? makes for a stronger deck if you do.

    Didn't know that.

I went from double joists outside to double joists in middle. Guess I should have asked.

    Good afternoon, folks.

Temp is up to 89° and should reach 92°. Humidity is still down, so it doesn't feel all that hot.
