I will say though that you look better without one, you look more like a tramp when you go hairy.
I stopped shaving regularly for a naive, childish reason: my fourth and hopefully last ex-wife started nagging if I had gone two days without shaving, and was always telling me to cut my hair and comb it. When she left, I remember telling my boozing mates in my local pub that at least I do not need to shave and comb anymore, and can be all weekend only wearing underpants and a t-shirt.

It then remained as a habit, never combing my hair and shaving only when absolutely necessary (and only wearing underpants and t-shirt when not expecting guests or going out ).

My hubby trimmed his beard this morning, I don't nag him about it though even when it's a bit ragged. He can quite often leave his hair until it's about at his shoulders before having it cut, the grandchildren call him Santa Claus because his hair is white.

My boss was calling me Santa and I told him I'll say Ho Ho and he can take care of gifts.
