I am not ashamed to admit that my best friends are a dozen or so fellow Seven / Eight / TenForums geeks I've never met in person except two of of them. Being a foreigner, a Finnish expat here in Germany I was not surprised to see how those real life "friends" here I had chose to cut the connection after my divorce; I had got them mostly through my German ex-wife and as is often the case in divorces, they felt they had to choose between us. They all chose Angie. Funny how adults cannnot remain friends with both parts when a friend couple goes in separate ways.
Anyway, one real life friend remained. He's not only my best real life friend, he's also my lawyer and his dear wife is my accountant. David Solomon Daniel, believe it or not, that's his first names. He answers to David and Daniel, totally ignores you if you call him Solomon.
Today was a good example about how he always has my best interest on his mind. We had today three extremely important meetings within a four hour period starting at 11 AM local time. The day begun with a text from him at 8:15 AM. He asked me to take a selfie and send it to him, ending the text with "Mach es einfach, ohne wenn und aber" which roughly translates to "Just do it, no ifs and buts".
I sent him this pic, taken at 8:25 AM today:
He texted back at 8:33 AM: "Starbucks in half an hour. Be there."
Tram to city takes 17 minutes so I had to hurry. Met David, got an espresso, then he took me to a Turkish barber shop across the street and told me that staff knows what to do, everything is paid for, he would pick me up in 45 minutes.
Two pics from following three quarters of an hour:
He picked me up as promised, drove me back home, told me I have 10 minutes to change (suit & tie), then we were off to first of today's meetings. Now back home, this pic taken only a few minutes ago:
A good friend, he really is.
Kari
Alles ist jetzt wirklich in Ordnung, Kari (German for "Everything is now really in order" which translates more colloquially as "Everything is now A-OK"). Great photos! Thanks,

Wow! what a difference from beginning to end Kari, he certainly knows what's good for you, you really should try to stay that way you look so much better, younger and more presentable.
