Good to see your Martin :)
There's this "Rasthof", an Autobahn service area in Switzerland near Lake Lugano with a huge statue of a cow, placed there as an ad by Swiss chocolate manufacturer Milka. Not this one but similar:
I had a relatively nice photo of Angie, my last (#4) wife standing next to it taken on some of our trips over Switzerland to Italy. At home it was pinned on the wall in the main hallway next to a big mirror, I had written "Angie & a cow" on it.
After the divorce I wanted to remove all such sentimental stuff, but instead of removing that picture I added "cow on the left" to it. I'm not telling if Angie stood in that picture left or right.
Eventually, my difficulties in seeing her every day in that pic weighed more than the bad joke so the pic had to go.
The most legendary cows (four legged variety) in UK are the concrete cows in town of Miton Keynes.
Why does Milton Keynes have concrete cows and where are they now? Here’s all you need to know
Always wondered why the legendary UK economist Milton Keynes was named after a town .
