Those and the Three Stooges is what developed who I am today.
I remember all the Saturday mornings as a kid, when I could have slept in, but got up early to watch cartoons! It was the most TV I watched all week, as otherwise my best friend and I were outside terrorizing the neighborhood.

Very handsome couple, rvbfan. I was wondering what the other end of those limbs in your avatar looked like. And like me I see as a couple you got the better end of the deal.
Amazes me to this day that she loves me.

Yup, and we had the best cartoons! Even the lesser ones like Secret Squirrel and Rocky and Bullwinkle were good. A Guy

Yes, much better than what's on today. My kids watched "Mutant Teenage Ninja Turtles"?!!! The Looney Tunes were good, but straight out of the Cold War.....My heroes:

Remember these two? The first geeks ever! This is with their WABAC machine, which was a pun of ENIAC and EDSAC.

The thing about so many of the cartoons I watched as a kid is that they are still great to this day. Some of the subtle humor that went over my head at that age, now cracks me up.
