Eggs are what they like. Not sure what can they do to chickens. Lucky yours are all grown up

Must be a wildlife service you can call. From Wiki.... They are medium to large constrictors and are found throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere. They feed primarily on rodents and birds.

Not a man anywhere to be found; that thing must weigh at least 20 pounds, it's so big! And if I try to get rid of it, it'll probably fight back . . . I'd lose the battle and the war!

A 20lb snake would probably be a Boa, not a rat snake, Animal control call anyone

Probably didn't weigh all of 20 pounds, but it was as big around as my wrist; I'm small boned, so mine are pretty small.

Well Hopefully It was just fat from the eggs, the good news is large snake don't need to
eat as often, so you probably have a few days before its back.
