Yeah, we have all kinds of chemicals in our diet nowadays. .

I see ads on TV about if you have gotten a certain type of cancer & used Roundup to call a number. I'm surprised they're still selling it if it does that.

Got an E from our phone service provider. They're changing their billing system & as a result, they're changing everyone's account number. What?

So anyway, not if you have an auto pay set up with the bank, you have to go change that account number to the new one. Oh, & the new account number won't be change until/around the 21st of this month.

So why in the name of heaven would they change all the account numbers just for a billing change???? Doesn't seem to make sense. Makes me wonder if their system was compromised & they're doing it for that reason & not telling anyone. Of course that's just the tin-foil hat in me thinking about that

Well, it didn't say to click on anything to get your new number and it said you can get your new number by signing in to the website around the 21st. I'm going to call them around that time or sooner & see if it is genuine.

All I know is it's another PIA technology has brought us

Maybe a new service would eliminate the tech problems. Ike's store never had these issues..............

Ah yes, the simple days when you could still slam down the receiver if you were upset

Not many choices in this area so just going to wait & see. Apparently DSL is the preferred medium around here if you have it, as the cable isp slows to a crawl in the evenings when everyone is home. Not the fastest, but always get the same speeds day/night.

I was told by someone who's friend works for the phone company that there's actually a waiting list to get on the DSL service & if we had it & were happy with it to not cancel it as we would have quite the wait to get back on it.

I use cable....fiber to the node. They provide more than you pay for so even if slower you are still above what you pay for.

I pay for 150 and get 200 pretty consistently.

Our whole neighbourhood is fed off this fiber.

I've got fibre cable too. I pay for 200 and regularly get 250.
