People Slow to Give Reputation Points?

Am I just unpopular or are many people unaware of the reputation points option?
Everyone hates you Charlie Brown...............Just kidding......You do give Good Advice.
Most folks are forgetful, Caught up in fixing their problems.
But you can have rep from me (for all the times I forget)

Hmmmm...the thumbs up seems to be missing in this forum.

It's always been that way, a "likes" system would attract more activity but then it goes the other way and some people hit like on every post.

Perhaps the Rep icon should be made more visible.
