My "new version" Pi Camera and telephoto lens should be the next one to arrive. It shipped about 4 days after the Arduino one so maybe this week some time? Then the new Pi 4B 8 gig a couple of weeks after that.
Put my Unicorn Mini Hat back on the Pi Zero it was originally on running as a scrolling clock. I hadn't reimaged the card yet so just a crontab edit and raspi config setting change to get it running headless again. Going to have to order some more power supplies at some point.
Mounted the Arduino Uno and solderless breadboard to the stand in my Arduino kit. Also did a quick power check on the Arduino. It blinked when powered via USB and the barrel jack so it should be fine. They ship with a very basic code to blink the onboard LED, sort of like a heart beat, so I guess mine has a pulse and isn't DOA, lol.
nice case/mount , for your new camera, or maybe not so nice ,i dont see how the big lens would fit ,Adjustable Raspberry Pi Camera Mount & Protector– The Pi Hut
That's for the older camera, not the new one. Its the older one mounted in it in the picture anyway.
I do like it though, and I could use at least one that's adjustable like that.
Mine should be here some time next week, hopefully. I think I have just enough of my Open Beam stuff left to make a stand for it. I'll know when I start putting things together.
I'm going to need something, as I got the telephoto lens which is a bit long. I like what he did in that video.
Went to change the oil in my lawnmower I bought new last year. I could not find the drain plug? Decided to do it another day as my hands were all grimy and I didn't want to get oily finger prints on the manual. Come to find out, it doesn't have a drain plug, you tip it over and drain the oil out the fill tube.
nice tidy little pizero case setup, similar to the Pi3 one i got from you ..
