If I end up with stuff I don't have a use for I'll let you know. I have the pHat Stack soldered up. I left out a couple headers so I can plug a full sized Hat on and not worry about pins shorting out under it. I have my i2c SPI Mini Breakout Garden plugged in with a BME280, 160 x 80 color LCD, and RV3028 RTC. I want to replicate an Enviro + of sorts, it uses that same color LCD. Then once I have that working I remove the color LCD and plug the Mini Unicorn onto the pHat Stack. Then see if I can get a working scrolling message like the one on the weather clock Sense Hat.
If I get that working the Mini Unicorn is going to replace the Sense Hat on my indoor weather clock. I may even redo it from scratch with a Pi Zero, Proto Zero with the RTC, and the Mini Unicorn.
If I ever get that far, the next step is to replace the Unicorn Mini on the pHat Stack with the Unicorn HD. If that works its replacing the Sense Hat on my portable weather clock. This is going to be an all summer pick away at it in stints deal.
How far I really get only time will tell.
Mounted the Drum Hat to one of the original (non mini) Black Hat Hack3r boards. I really wish they hadn't switched to the Mini one, I like the old layout a lot better. I'll have to plug that Pi into my TV to get sound. It's a Pi Zero W, so no audio out jack. And my monitor is DVI and has no speakers.
At some point I'll likely get a Pirate Audio Speaker Mini Hat for sound. I'd have preferred a speaker pHat but they are discontinued. Not a big deal.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
Let me look over what I have and I'll get back to you. I will definitely trade a Black hat Mini for an original. And could really use a speaker phat on my pHat Stack. Just have to find something cool and useful to trade for it.
I'm trying to find something you don't already have, lol. I have a spare Arduino Uno? Its a Micro Controller like the BBC Micro Bit, but with more pins and functions. I'm not sure you'd want to mess with that though. It's programed with C. I'm not if you can program it with Micro python just yet. I think Make code works with it though. Feel free to say no I don't want it. And I'll keep looking in my boxes of stuff.
nah, dont think i would use the Arduino Uno, dont worry about it,you gave me some things for the micro bit , and your help over the years is enough payment , I'll drop them off next time i'm over that way
I have a Pibow base with a small solderless breadboard already mounted to it you can have. The Pibow case will bolt to it. And I can throw in a Pi 3 Pibow coupe case to bolt to it.
This minus the Pi and black instead of red.
