Seems to be hit or miss, or where its coming from. My step daughter has ordered stuff that arrives in a week via snail mail, and other stuff takes ages.
I'll be happy if any one of my three Pimoroni orders arrives any time soon.
On the bright side, it looks like I may get my morning walk in, not raining "yet".
I have some items (not Pi related) that were ordered from Amazon on Sunday that are scheduled to be delivered today (Tuesday). One of the items was originally scheduled to be delivered yesterday but got slipped 1 day. In my experience Amazon deliveries have been pretty reliable throughout the current situation.
You get what you pay for. If I had paid extra and went UPS or DHL I'd have it by now. I cheeped out and went Snail Mail. Usually I get stuff from Pimoroni in about two weeks if it goes Royal mail tracked and signed.
i received one of the items ordered on at the same time ,from a different seller within a week, .depends on where there coming from i guess
I see the has shipped e-mail in my inbox, hurry up and wait time again, lol.
Oh, well, the Arduino stuff is the next one that should come and that will give me something to do while I wait for the other one.
The Pimoroni stuff goes by truck, then by Air to Canada, then back to by truck again. I think it starts out in Vancouver and heads east lol.
My missing Pimoroni order just showed up. Something to play with over the weekend. This damp cold weather is killing me so no tinkering today. Neck and shoulders are way to sore to do any soldering. Supposed to be nice tomorrow and Friday though.
Yes, that was the order they sent a replacement for. I e-mailed them and told them the original actually showed up and he said thanks for letting us know. No mention of what happens now? They may be able to get the second one returned to them via the tracking number? I'm not worrying about it until and if the second one does show up. That will be three or more weeks as it was also sent Royal Mail like the first one.
The next one to get here should be my Arduino stuff, then the new camera and lens.
This one was my pHat Stack, Drum Hat and Unicorn Hat Mini.
So far, I've only been billed for the first one, that we thought got lost. The second one shows as $0 charge. What ever happens I'll let you know. I could likely find a use for everything in the second order, assuming I figure out how to get the first ones working the way I want, lol.
