You should have gotten a e-mail shortly after you placed the order with links to review items you ordered. One that I received is titled "Is everything OK with your order" that one comes a few days after its shipped.

I've had some come really quick and some take a dogs age to arrive. Canada Post at its finest. Anyway, the links to do the reviews should be in one or both of those e-mails.

There is a Pi Day Windows theme available though the Windows store if anybody is interested. Its not a Raspberry Pi theme just a Pi (3.14) theme. I can't figure out how to link to it though, there is no URL shown in the Store App?
If you got to settings > Personalization > Themes > Get more themes from the Microsoft Store > Then in Search type Pi Day.

This was posted by Scott on the Pimoroni forum to increase the VU meter sensitivity on the pHat Beat. It works but mine is actually a bit too sensistve now. I get full scale at low to moderate volume levels. Still better than the one of two leds I was getting at that same volume. I "think" its the "131071.0f" that needs to be chnaged, but not 100% sure? I'm waiting on a reply as to what to change to tweak it to what I want as a level.

You can increase the sensitivity on the Phat Beat VU Meter by doing the following:
    cd Pimoroni/pivumeter
    nano src/devices/phat-beat.c
    Change line 88 to:
    int bar = (meter_level * (meter_level / 8) / 131071.0f) * (brightness * (NUM_PIXELS/2));
    Recompile the library:
    sudo make
    sudo make install
Now your VU meter is more sensitive! Tweak the values to your liking.

I made an edit, I do believe it should be sudo make, not make. I got an error just running make. I can't seem to lower the sensitivity now? I've been trying lower values in place of the
131071.0f ? It doesn't seem to make any difference? I may try a higher number.

Higher is better. Its / dividing by that number so the larger it is the lower the result of the math will be. I'd try something like 600000 or 700000.
I'd adjust your volume to the level you usually listen to it at. Then play with that number until you get the response you want on the VU meter.
You need to reboot to see the change.

I ended up at 1000000, but I have my volume a bit on the loud side. There are some fans running in that room in an attempt to cool things off a bit.

The original edit changes that line quit a bit. I can't say as I understand what it does but it works once you tweak the numbers after the edit. You have to do the make and make install every time you edit it. I did anyway. And a reboot.

first time this ever happened to one of my power supplies ,got it from buyapi.ca.. ,went to use it and it wouldn't turn on the pi just a blinking red light i think ,, anyway open it and the solder had melted on one of the prongs ,soldered it back on ,tried it ,same thing happened ,, then i noticed a 1 inch mark inside the outer case ,touched it and it was soft ,it was getting that hot it was melting the cover ,,, in the garbage it goes ,and not to not buy Power supply from buyapi any more, not a great picture,it just shows the ball of solder on the end of the wire
