    I have a shop manual for my car in pdf form but when I tried to open it on Pi 3B+, it took almost 3 minutes to open (150MB file). I was pleasantly surprised to find that the same pdf file opens in about 3 seconds on a Pi 4B. That's a pretty significant, real world performance improvement between the 2 generations of Pi.

    Pi 3 to Pi 4 was one of the biggest steps up yet. Performance wise / hardware wise. I really hope they do a 4A. Way to early for one but if it happens, the 4B+ should be interesting.

    a bit of a heads up post. The 16 gig Sandisk Micro SD cards I bought from Adafuit are the fast A1 cards. The 32 gig Micro SD cards I bought from Pimoroni (for almost the same price) were only slower HC 1 cards. Just me not paying attention to the details. I'll still find a good use for them, just won't be using them in my Pi 4. I was wondering why they were so cheap compared to the Adafruit cards. They are double the capacity but slower cards.

    Went looking at my orders and it looks like I bought the 16 gig and the 32 gig from Pimoroni? Luck of the draw I guees, and what they bought in bulk that month? I got what I paid for and IMHO paid at a fair price. Its just hard to tell what your specifically getting sometimes. The image for the 32 gig cards has the important side of the card face down? The side with the writing on it. NOOBS 32GB microSD card (3.1) – Pimoroni I can't find the 16 gig ones. They show up in my order history though.

    My Raspicam never stopped working since I put it together. It was sitting in my daughter's playroom for several months without any issue. I am even able to stream it on my watch. Sweet! :)

    @badrobot

    @caperjack I saw that in the new stuff list. A ruler touch pad thingy. It has a programable micro controller in the end so you could reprogram it to do different things when the buttons are pressed. Like order a pizza online, lol.
    I saw this too, KittenBot Meowbit - Codable Console for MakeCode Arcade ID: 4324 - $34.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits Missed it when it was first released some how.
    This is cool too I think, M5Stick-C IoT Development Kit with 2 Sensors + Watch Accessories ID: 4289 - $24.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits The sensor add on is what I'd be interested in. I could wear it on my morning walk and see what the temp etc is. I may actually buy one this coming Christmas.
