Standard house fly that doesn't bite, just annoys the hell out of you untill you swat it. I'm guessing the horse flys you see out your way could pick the camera up and carry it away.

motioneyeos-raspberrypi3-20190427 will not work for me on my Pi 3A+. Same issue I had the last time I tried it, it will not connect over my WIFI? As soon as I try to switch it from ethernet to WIFI it goes MIA. Went back to the 0119 image.
I had one camera start acting up "again". Wouldn't shut down properly or would just lock up and have to be power cycled. Its never the same camera, one of my group of cameras will just randomly start glitching with extended use.

Seems like once a month I'm redoing one of my motion Eye cameras. One minute they are fine next minute one just stops working. I still find them very useful, and the GUI interface is OK. The unreliable bit is beginning to piss me off though.
I'll be back at it soon. Once we start getting a few nice days in a row. I'm checking my Pi related forums daily.
I come here daily too, just don't post as often as I used to. In the Windows sections anyway. I can't keep up with the new blood anyway.

Woot, I've been waiting for this to be released, RV3028 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Breakout – Pimoroni Mainly because its installed with the one line installer.
I'm currently using the Adafruit DS3231's. They work, but getting them to work can be a PITA. Its all manual file edits etc and "time" consuming.
New UV sensor too, something else I've been wanting for the same reasons above. VEML6075 UVA/B Sensor Breakout – Pimoroni
Doesn't appear to measure ambient light though? Which is something I need and want. Don't really want to install two sensors. The Adafruit SI1145 does both, sort of kind of. It doesn't actually measure UV light but approximates the UV index based on ambient and IR light. Close enough for me for what I want it for. Setting it up is a bit of a PITA. Adafruit only list Arduino instructions and no Python library. I had to hunt one up somebody else made up. Luckily, knock on wood, thats not one of my installs I have to redo rom scratch all that often.

This sounds like what may have befallen that Pi 3 B+ of yours jack, Shorting Pins On A Raspberry Pi Is A Bad Idea; PMIC Failures Under Investigation | Hackaday
The one you had me have a look at that had no 3.3V output. Keep it in mind, if it happens again you "may" be able to get it replaced? Depending on how long you've had it etc.
