@caperjack Jack, what version of Motion Eye OS are you runing? There is a new one out this month. 20190427.img
I'm still on
motionEye Version 0.39.3
Motion Version 4.1.1
OS Version motionEyeOS 20190119

I ask because I had tried the 20190427 a couple of weeks ago and could not get it to connect over WIFI? I just gave up and went back to the earlier version I posted above.

I think the latest stable version was just released on the 1st of this month? I can't find the page where he said that now though? When I tried it last time I thought it was current but I guess it was still a dev build?

Found it, "released this on May 1", Releases . ccrisan/motioneyeos . GitHub It was May 1st not June 1st. Anyway, it didn't work for me on my Pi 3A+'s.

The image file you downloaded will have the date in its name, that should be the easiest way to tell what version you downloaded.
You can also see it via the web gui, under general Settings. I would caution you against clicking the Software Update Check button in Motion Eye OS. More often than not it will fail and leave you having to reflash your card anyway. Thats how its been for me anyway. He even cautions you not to do it in the notes for just about every new release. Just a heads up on that one.

Ok, thanks. I'll have to give it another try next time one of my cameras glitches and won't work anymore.

lol, one of my cameras just started doing all kinds of weirdness? Black flashes shadows / flickering? A fly was buzzing around on the front of the camera. It was so close it was basically out of focus. I was just about to go have a look see and it landed on the window glass in front of the camera, in focus so I could see what it was.
