I have a Pi 3B Pibow coupe in a box someplace. Pi A+ Pibow too I think. And one of those SmartiPi Pi 3B cases, the small grey ones with the mounting tab things on the sides and the snap fit Pi camera case.

The 8 gig is out of stock already at Pimoroni.
I see they are still out of stock at Pimoroni 2 days later. I checked CanaKit. The 8 gig Pi 4 is in stock there.

I ordered the original Pi 4 4G when it came out last year (June 24, 2019). It was back-ordered and took 4 weeks for me to get it.

I likely could have scored one from Pimoroni on launch day. I didn't have the funds on hand at that time though, or know i was going to have some extra cash to make the purchase. I'm content to wait for them to go back in stock. I setup a notify me.
I bought a 4 gig when they were released. It see's daily use as a desktop PC setup. It will be repurposed to run Motion Eye OS with the New high res camera the Pi Foundation just released. It's on its way but will be a week or more before I get my hands on it. The 8 gig Pi 4B will replace the 4 gig as a desktop setup. Still debating if I'll go 32 bit or 64 bit Beta Pi OS.

Thanks Jack, think I'll wait though, I have a couple of other things I want to get from Pimoroni.

What projects do people have that would even take advantage of a Pi with 8GB of RAM? None of the projects I've use Pis for would benefit from that much RAM, which is why I'm not in any hurry to buy an 8GB model.

Personally, I'm much more interested in the new Beta feature that allows booting from USB and eliminating the micro SD card.

Future proofing I guess. At this point in time I dare say for me I don't need the 8 gig edition. I don't mind spending extra to get it though. Who knows what the next big thing Pi wise is. The Pi foundation does but won't say, lol.
For what its worth, I'm one of the ones who was asking for it, said I'd buy it if it happened, so now I will.
