From the looks of the extended forecast I won't be going anywhere and should be home all day. Might walk in the morning if its not pouring rain. Gingers sitting by the front door as I type this. We would normally be down at the soccer filed for play time this time of the day. Its pouring out so not today. We got our morning walk in though.

Where your at Jack I'd think you could score a few good shots of wildlife night life. Raccoons in your garbage etc, lol. Assuming you get the Motion bit working the way you want. For me it would be one of the neighbors cats.

Apples are supposed to be good for attracting deer. Thats what the deer hunters told me anyway. I was never into hunting, I couldn't pull the trigger anyway. Not unless it was it or me. Lots of the guys I worked with in Moncton were hunters.

Any of you Pi aficionados able to use the Raspberry Pi Desktop app for Windows? I can't make it work under Windows 10. I can start Debian when it asks me to, and I get as far as "initializing RAMDisk", but then it stops dead and I get this error screen:

From all the research I could do, this seems to be a Windows 10 Spectre mitigation issue, but I don't know how to solve it.

    Any ideas?

This ? How to run Raspberry Pi Desktop on Windows or macOS - The Pi To be honest until now I didn't know it existed.
Currently I'm just running this, Raspberry Pi Desktop - Raspberry Pi on my spare desktop PC.

EDIT: I may give it a try latter on in the day. I'll have to read up on it to decide if I need it or want it first.
