On a semi related note, I ordered a full Pan tilt kit for one of my Pi cameras.
    Pan-Tilt HAT – Pimoroni Store
It shipped yesterday, I should have it end of next week some time. I'll put it through its paces from Raspbian first, just to make sure it all works with full range of motion. Then install Motion Eye. The latest version has support for the pan tilt built in. My plan is to setup a couple of preset coordinates and map them to buttons in the gui. Then just press the button I want to get the view I want. Left right center etc. I can watch the front lawn when the dog is out or I'm waiting for a delivery. Or watch the driveway for my wife if she was out getting groceries etc. I'll play around with it then see where it will be the most use. I'm hoping it will free up a camera for other use. It may end up being a bird camera to watch different feeders. Although I'm thinking it moving and buzzing is likely going to scare the birds away. It will be on one side of a window and the closest feeder just on the other side.

I played around with servo's before using Pulse Width Modulation. Its a lot easier with a hat that does all that (translating) for you. With the hat you just tell it to pan to X degrees and or tilt to Y degrees. I'll put it where I intend to use it, then play with the angles until I get the camera pointed where I want it. Then just write down my X and Y. Then repeat for each position I want to watch. Then enter those values into the Motion Eye hot key setup. It will be a couple of line of python code for each one. Import pantilt, pan X tilt Y. Something like that.

yeah, it sounds so easy, I was just wondering if you seen a Y power cable for the new offical lcd case ,but to use with the older official lcd case with a pi4B instead of using the Pi3B+

Totally off topic but likely good for a laugh. I had to replace the gizmo in my toilet tank. The one with the float that fills the tank after a flush. Comedy of errors lol. First I bought the wrong one, modified it to try and make it work but couldn't. No taking it back for a refund now.

    First,
I now had the original out on the floor so I took that with me and got the right one. Put it in, verified it worked, went to put the tank cover on and it hit the top of it. I had adjusted it a bit too long / high.
    second
Took it out and shortened it. Put it back in, cover now fits. Turn the water on and it filled up, then suddenly popped to full length. I forgot to put the locking ring in lock after adjusting the length.
    Third,
Took it out one more time, adjusted it and locked it, and put it back in. Finally a done deal with no leaks. On the plus side I only got minimal water on the floor. Just a little bit when I take the gubbens out.
We now take you back to our regularly scheduled thread topic. :P

This is one of those one piece ones. I have seen people break the tank by overtightening the bolts to try and stop a leak at the mating surface.
This tank unit is one of those newer units with the float built into it. No metal arm with float ball on the end. First time I ever installed one of those. The original just clogged up or something, really slow to fill the tank etc. Anyway, its a done deal now. Good for another few years. I'll blame it on the city water and minerals etc.

the one i broke belonged to a friend of my wife's ,it was so old,she needed a new one anyway ,lol i couldn't get the back separated from the bottom so i removed the bolts from the floor and when picking it up it slipped from my hands and i dropped it ,and it hit the cast iron tub[also very old] and smashed the toilet ,,,the rest is history ,my wifes friend still lets me fix her computer and printer ,but i'm not aloud in the bathroom ,LOL,
