I finally got notice that my Pi 4 shipped. It's scheduled to be delivered 7/25.
Thats good news, supply may finally be catching up with demand.

I switched to the "Trees" background. Right click desktop properties. I also like the taskbar on the bottom.

Was going to see if I could setup a USB boot on my Pi 4 but bailed out. You have to jump through hoops to boot from your SD card then run Raspbian from the thumbdrive. I'll wait till they enable it for the Pi 4 like it is now for the pi 3. .

no hoops ,was quite easy actually ,formatted my ssd drive .used win32 diskimager to install blaster to it , ran a few command ,.no sdcard in the pi now ,its takes a little longer to load now but not that long ,and works fine ,once plugged into the faster usb on the new pi ,it might even work a bit faster ,maybe not much ,but every bit helps i guess ..I followed this site Raspberry Pi Boot from USB - Pi My Life Up

Its easy on a Pi 3B, On the 3B+ its now enabled by default, you don't even have to manually set that one bit from the command line. Its not enabled at all "yet" on the Pi 4. And the setting the bit doesn't work on a Pi 4. It requires a firmware update to enable it. That means doing it the old way and booting from an SD card and running the OS from your USB connected drive. A bit of a PITA once I started looking at it.

Yeah, and there are quit a few people that are not happy about it. The foundation was touting the improved speed of the USB bus, and then they delay a wanted feature that would benefit most from it.? It could be months before we get full USB boot on a Pi 4.
