I may go that way if I know its only the battery that's a dud. I'll be giving them to my step daughter, if she wants them, and prefer that they work for a good length of time after dark.
I got one ceiling fan installed. The one in my computer room had stopped working, motor was messed up or the speed switch died. It was getting long in the tooth anyway. Nice cool breeze in here now. =) The other one is in the kitchen and getting well used. Some of the lights stopped working and the finish is pealing off. It still runs, just looks awful. I'll tackle that one another day.

I'd have to have my house wiring updated to run an Air Conditioner. My fuse box is maxed out as it is.
Especially after adding a new much bigger fridge and a dishwasher.
Was going to do some Pi stuff tonight but just decided to mow the front lawn. I'm done in now.

Hoping to get some Pi stuff done latter on today. Rain has let up "some", just a light drizzle now. Probably won't go out on the deck though.
I think I may shuffle some setups around. I'm going to put the Drum Hat on my pHat Stack. With my Piano Hat I have in a box doing nothing. And the Speaker pHat I'm getting from you. I do that setup in the Learning section. It will be something for my grand daughter to play with when she's visiting. As a bonus that pHat Stack is setup perfect for that layout. I left out two of the headers. It's all setup for Pi > pHat > Hat > Hat. =)
My Breakout Garden stuff will go on my Black Hat Hack3r board I already have. The Drum Hat is on it now. A simple swap really as I'll just swap the Pi's around two. They are both Pi Zero W's with 90 female headers on them. I could just swap the SD cards as I have made a cutout in the Pibow case for access. But its still easier to just unplug them and swap them. I will take some pictures when done lol.
That Pimoroni order that I thought was lost is still showing "in transit", even though I got it. I guess because nobody ever really signed for it?
The replacement is still showing in my order history. I can't track it at all as no tracking number is listed. All it says is "has shipped".
Going by how long the other one took, my Arduino stuff should show up end of this coming week or early week after that. And my new high res camera about a week after that.

Just a heads up FYI post. The Pimoroni stand offs are just slightly shorter than the ones you get from Adafruit. 10mm versus 11mm as near as I can tell. If your like me and put them all in the one compartment, double check when using them that the 2 or 4 your using are all the same length. Other wise things can get a little wonky.

Just installed my Unicorn Hat Mini on a spare Pi Zero I had kicking around. Did up a fresh card with the Pi imager. That went pretty quick. On boot up / setup, its painfully slow getting updates. That's how it goes with a Zero though. I also bought one of the pHat diffusers that will work. Covers up the buttons on the Unicorn Mini though. I'm just going to leave it off for now. If I end up needing the buttons I'll notch it with a small sanding drum on my Dremel.
Imaging a second card is taking a loooong time for some reason? I may put a mark on this card with a sharpie so I know which one it is. Then if I have issues with it latter I'll just bin it.

I just put the diffuser on my Unicorn Mini. More for protection than anything else. The included screws didn't make any sense to me? Not until I looked at the product page. They are really thin, like the ones for the official Pi camera. They won't screw into the stand offs. If your not using stand offs they work. Tiny Screw > diffuser > two tiny nuts > pHat > tiny nut. I went with normal (long) screw > diffuser > normal sized nut > pHat > standoff > Pi. It's almost touching the buttons. It does look a lot better with the diffuser on it, IMHO.
