remember, it was the very first antivirus ever.

One of the first , I was dealing with AVG in the Czech Republic at about the same time, (1992), and I actually went with them at the time they had the Best Bang per buck. I would not use either at this time - Although I am grateful to both for the funds they have earned me over the years fixing systems for their customers

This was a really interesting McAfee interview I found, though.
I liked his story about why he even created the AV in the first place.

Like him or hate him, he always presents his viewpoint in an interesting(almost arrestingly) way.
