Yep, always amazes me when I clean/fix someones PC & they have GIGABYTES of old files from the browser & whatnot. They usually ask if that's normal. I say yeah, for someone who never runs a cleaning program.

Windows files and most were in Windows\Temp folder

Disk Cleanup refused to sweep. Files dating back to 2015.


Morning Borg. I'm not sure how people are supposed to know that they should clean. There is no course, no simple book. They buy and drive until it cries "Uncle".

Yep, you're right on that. Most people just go with "Turn it on & use it until it gives out." A little bit of research on how to maintain your OS or phone could go a long way if folks would take the time to Google it.

Of course they're trying to automate all that I'm sure, but they can't do everything for you, despite the fact they are trying.
