Thanks, TC. Guess I missed Shawn's post.

All the extra rain we've been getting has created a moat in front of my chicken pen and I've been busy the past few days building a bridge to walk across and pull my cart across when cleaning their house.

Yeppers! I'd rather walk on top of the water than wade in it!

Edit: Cyndi and I went to the garden center down the road and got some coleus. While we were shopping, the owner was moving 50 lb. bags of potting soil from outside the fence to inside. I asked for the pallets it was on and he gave them to me.

So, I pulled the boards off the bottom of one of the pallets, set two landscape timbers across the "moat", positioned the pallets across them and nailed 'em all down.

Now I can walk across instead of taking the "long way around" to get to the chicken gate.
