Thanks, but no, thanks, Beeman.

The first thing I saw was half a page of the thing that wouldn't open fully. Then I heard the guy say he doesn't like Microsoft. At that point, I closed the site.

I don't have time for haters. No matter if they hate Microsoft, Linux, or Apple, they're a disgruntled minority I don't care to watch or listen to. There could well be good information there, but because of this person's attitude, I'm sure I'll find all the good stuff somewhere else.

I'm not a fanboy (fan girl) of any one OS, although I know little to nothing about Linux and/or the Apple OS. I use Windows because I graduated from the Tandy Color Computer (discontinued) to bigger and better when Windows first came out. It was the first OS that didn't give out on me. That's it.

I have no qualms with a real review, whether pro or con.

This guy knows what he is talking about he moved from Windows to Linux and is also a Former DJ. What I can say about Linux is , it just works. Linux inside of Windows would be just another thing MS would ruin. I would rather Dual Boot. There is a reason most of the NET runs on Linux Servers.

I ran OS/2 for some time and you can repair that system without having to reinstall, Windows NOT. Linux can be repaired without having to reinstall you can also boot from your hard drive in another box and have it boot (like if your CPU borked and took out your mother board) without giving M$ a call. I put Mint 19.1 on my laptop to test it out and liked it so I took out the hard drive and put it in my desktop which had a different video card and CPU than my laptop and it booted with out a problem.

As I said, Beeman, there might be some good info there . . . it's the guy's attitude and delivery I object to.
