want to feel old?

Doing some spring cleaning I dug out a few ole computers.
ZX81 2 kilobyte memory /16 k mem upgrade (got it while in England) z80 chip.
Timex-Sinclair 2000 color 48 k mem z80 chip.
Commodore 64/128 (big box) ,1351 drive 20 meg hd external, 512 reu, 2 sid chip ,midi interface for my moog
list of BBS's
ibm 4 meg 20mhz(upgraded to 40 mhz with green chip) running 3.11 windows
Quantum link disks, Prodigy logins, pclink, Aol (inclusive network) disks, Compuserve logins.
All the above computers still worked though I had to blow the dust off a couple .

I recently came across some old floppy disks when cleaning. My kids were like what on earth are those!

We all had a good laugh together

Did you tell them they were square frissbees or cup coasters?
told my niece my ole superball (came out in the '60's) was for vandalizing neighbors widows :)

In the mid-90s, I had to replace the CD drive in a tower server (Netware). When I took the tower off the shelf, there was a 8-inch floppy disk under it. Told the manager that was the issue with his server, outdated technology. It was a Xerox 860 Validator Spelling Program. Still have it today.

I turn 70 in June, just retired.

All these adding to the earth's e-waste.
