In the 50's with rain on the way.

My Wife's friends came over yesterday, one of them brought her lappy, then another couple showed up & they had a lappy also. Apparently, they both went to the same site, clicked on the same "you need this player" button , so at least once I got the one clean, I knew exactly what to do on the other & only lost about an hour of my evening.

Yeah, I laugh because the only alternative is to cry. I don't know how many times I warned them about that & yet......

So yesterday they asked me about blocking ads on their phones. I told them there's probably some apps out there, but since I don't know much about phones, I probably wouldn't be much help.

So I looked at some of the ads & noticed there a little tiny X in the corner, right on top of the big > that probably takes you to the app/ad page. They make it very hard to click the X without hitting that forward button.

I dug out my stylus, wanted to see what would happen, if they actually would close. Instead, I get a drop down list with options like "show me another ad," "don't show this ad again,' "do you not like this ad,"etc. One of the options was "other", so tapped on that & there was a comments section, I typed in "Offends my religion."

I'm sure they're scratching their heads wondering how an ad for watches offends my religion.
