Agree battery replacement should be easy but older vehicles always present obstacles. Last night I couldn't budge hold down clamps. Didn't want to snap something. Sprayed nuts and bolts with WD40 and let sit overnight. WD40 did the job. New battery in and she is on the road again.

She is happy, I'm going to be on time for my afternoon call, life is good.

We've had nice warm temps in the 70s over the weekend. It's all downhill from here.

Yeah, batteries aren't too bad, some baking soda will clean the terminals nicely, or you can get a small metal brush. Had those stubborn ones before where the terminals won't budge.

Well, been about the same here. Typical spring, warm days & cool days. We almost considered putting the AC in yesterday, the room was 80°.

Terminals were good, actually better than I expected. Usually you have that corrosion and even the wires are ready to snap. None of that on this one or I would have passed. It was the steel nut and bolt that secure a large metal hold down clamp. Last time these were loosen was at least five years ago.

Yeah, if it's steel then it can seize up pretty good. WD40 probably helps a lot in loosening it.

Enjoy the back/forth weather, all part of spring. Not too bad when it cool s down a day after yesterday was here, on the mid 80's & humid.
