One thing you should never do Josey, is buy parts from a car dealer....I just did a quick check for prices and you can get 2 new ones for 140 bucks....that fit your 2000 Acura.

If you do not know what you are doing with these type of lights you can electrocute yourself as these are not your regular type headlights.

Listen Mike, I am not going to argue this with you, I was told this when I checked into replacing one of them myself. This was a certified Mechanic not related to the dealership where I bought the car. You have never heard of people getting killed working on an old TV due to the built up charge, if you do not ground the picture tube wire you can be electrocuted. Capacitors hold a charge long after the plug was pulled. I value my life more than 700 Dollars. I do have a degree in Electronics but I am no mechanic.
