Keith a couple of days ago I'm pretty sure you mentioned you use FreeFileSync.

Are you using this with a networked storage device?

If so are you able to place the full path name, user name and user password within the app?

My goal is to not store any network credentials within the Widows Credential manager making it as hard as possible for Ransomware to encrypt files on NAS.

Also considering trying a Robo copy batch file with these parameters contained within. That said FreeFileSync looked like something I could use.

I have used FFS over the network but I've actually never been asked for a pw when running a backup that I can remember. I have windows set up to remember the user/pw of network shares so I guess it only happens the first time you access a share in that case.
