Yep and I love the pure Android experience on one. I had one a few years ago and it was heaven. The LG I have now is the first non Motorola I have had in years. I will probably stay with Motorola for a good while again.

One of these days I might get a smart phone but it will not be a top of the line type.

My phone is likely four years old and it looks like I got it yesterday. At this rate I never be able to get a new phone.

I was in the same boat until I quit babying mine at work like an idiot and tried to pull it out with gloves on and dropped it face down in a gravel driveway

Two different rocks hit it perfectly on each side at the bottom and sent a crack from side to side with a couple other smaller cracks where the contact was made. You could probably drop a phone 1000 times and it would never land in the same way exactly to have two spots hit on each side right at the edge to create a single crack across the screen.

At first there was no issue with tapping in the area, but over the last few days it has gotten to the point where it will not respond to anything down there where the crack is.

As of now I have to say OK Google... open my home screen....... to get back there after I open an app

Yep that and the failure the last 24 hours was the nail in the ol coffin, so to say.
