    Form Factor:

LOL none of those measurements match up to the drive when you measure them at home. Thanks, come again

Form factor is the platter. Not the enclosure. SSD not having a platter still uses the traditional naming convention of the HDD. Actual case is a tad larger XxYxZ to fit all the guts in. Just a naming convention. You'd have to tear an HDD down to measure the platter, but it would be 3.5, not 3.9.

Not trying to argue to a point where we are aggravated. Measure any regular SSD and check the measurements, not some web page.

That's fine. You may be missing the meaning of Form Factor. That's all. You can't measure the platter with a measuring tape from the outside of the enclosure.

Yes, we were talking about HDDs and SSDs and the sizes. Cases are one size, innards are another. They use the same naming convention for standardization. So a 3.9 wide SSD has an Industry form factor of 3.5.

Makes sense TC. This not directed at you..... back to the old GB on the package vs what you see when in use on the PC. Not the same.

It all is apples and oranges tbh. It started as a joke and hoping that it ends that way.
