I got the intent of the joke but am still wondering what drives he has that are 3.5"

    Specs of a Samsung SSD: 3.9 x 2.8 x 0.3 inches
    The platters, not enclosure.

It is driving me crazy that the SATA III SSD is on a SATA II port, because I can see the slower saving of the video from the camera. I am really thinking about shutting down and swapping the cables. I never use the backup drive really and just put it on the SATA III to make backups faster.

The problem is that it will screw up the order of my disks though. (disk management)
All of my ports are SATA ii and all of my drives are SATA iii.

I am Happy for you Ken. But as AD posted it is not really 3.5 " I measures one of mine and it is closer to 4" but it is a Samsung.

This is what I use for my SSD's. When I want to use Linux I just shut down, remove the Win 10 SSD and put in the Linux SSD and start up. I do not like to dual boot.

I bet my next MR image will take a bit longer now that the backup drive is on a slower port. I should get used to that though, as I will be backing up to an external in the future.

My backup is to an eSATA port with a WD Black Spinner and it only takes about 5 minutes. You should back up to an external and have one backup off site per the experts. I guess that is in case your house burns down,
