I used to repair TV's for a living Yep the first thing to check is to see if the thing was plugged in and yep there was a few that were not.
That's the first question IT support at work asked when you phoned them.

Morning beeman...... and the ones where the wall plug is controlled by a switched and the switch is off.

I am using it for recordings from my two security cameras. It would be much faster if I had an additional SATA III port. Once I finally get me an external 4TB for backups, it will free up the other SATA III port. (only have 2 )

You might look at a SATA expansion card.

    https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produc...-028-_-Product

( Canadian site, cheaper on US. )

I installed one in my machine.

I would get one if not going with an external for backups. The other disk on my 2nd SATA III port is my backup drive. I did the install perfect with it and the cables are on the back side hidden, or I would just swap the cables for the SSD and it.

Most of mine are under 15MB on the recordings. ContaCam sorts them by folders like 02 for the month and then under it 23 for the day. I usually clear them the next day if nothing of importance happens.
