    Scam Warning!

I just had a web page popup in Firefox stating that my Windows Defender expired today. It also had a link to click on. Watch out what you click on.

I know not to click on theses links. I just want to let others know so that if it happens to them they don't click on it.

It's not even safe to answer your phone because of all the scams.

download Hiya, it's a free app that notifies you about potential scammers or telemarketers. There is a paid version to auto-block those calls, but the free version is good enough to give you a heads up about any potential scammers

I'm using Nomorobo on my landline. It stops most unwanted calls. The number has to be on the list to get blocked. The scammers can also spoof legit numbers. On my landline and cell phone I will not answer any numbers I don't reconize.

I'll have to check out Nomorobo. Hiya is more of a community based app, people report in suspected scam and telemarketer numbers and the app notifies you about them.
