Yes, but something odd. If I use the write test option up in the tool bar, it doesn't always choose the best. I've just deleted the assessment there, and let it do it on first backup....always seems to get it right doing that way.

My MR was running kind of slow probably due to just updating it through all of those updates, so I downloaded a fresh installer, Revo'd MR and re-installed it, Now it is back at the speed it should be. Backing up to a External HD on an eSATA port at 1.0GB's/sec and the same with the validating . Before it would run at half that speed.
