If it goes to sleep or hibernation it might count. I am not sure i have never had a M.2

I don't allow my drives to power down. Probably why my old old old Video drive with 2380 days has 0 errors and still kicking.

    The wonders of Windows.

My Win7 device can't hibernate. There have been power issues in Windows stretching back years.

Amazing that all these boxes are built for Windows and yet there are so many issues.

AD what program is giving you those stats, please?
Nor can my old Win7 lappy so I've disabled it on that too. It completely locks up. You have to remove the battery to get it to start.

and that would be especially painful with some laptops where you can't get at battery.

If the price of 3tb SSD ever drops enough, I will have the same lol. I will be retiring that old drive in the near future hopefully. I have a complete backup and it is not showing any errors at all, so I am not in a rush.

Yep I had a tablet that would not boot because a update caused it to go into sleep and would not boot to a desktop. Had to wait for the battery to discharge six weeks before I could boot to a desktop

I've got a Kindle I'm going to have to do that. It seems stuck on the charging screen.

I'd have to look it up but there is a reset for Kindle that should resolve that. My wife's kindle was stuck a long time back. I will see if I can find the process.
