Glad to hear it Mike. I am still shopping for a good deal on a UPS for my modem in the event there is a power outage. I have security cameras with backup batteries in the event power fails. If the power outage does not knock out the internet I would still have all my security working for at least a good while until the batteries drain out.

Those batteries don't last long .....sometimes only 20 or so mins, best just to shut down computer if you loose power.

I could run my computer off the generator, but I don't like doing that...so I just shut it down.

I will be using it for the modem only. That should last hours, or at least I believe it would. The only thing I would have plugged into the UPS is the modem, or if I am home, my cell phone so I have something to do in the dark lol.

All good. The security cams will last a good 5-7 hours depending on the motion detected events.

That does the job very well

When I am away at work, I want to have video evidence of any mischief occurring for sure.
