Borg...see that remote hanging down from that TV? The original wired one that fired up an actuator to physically turn the knob! Ka-Clank!

Didn't work for UHF channels, though. That was like tuning a shortwave radio set!

Ah yes, the good old days, when you got your exercise by getting up & having to change the knob. I knew one guy that had a long notched stick so he could reach over & turn the knob without getting up.

Wonder if they even broadcast on UHF anymore, I know quite a few stations did in the Los Angeles area in the late 80's

Good morning again, everyone. Weather's not too bad for the upcoming weekend and (after Monday) week.



Now, if it would just hurry and warm up! It's still 35° out there and I need it to be in the 50s to go out the door.

Plans are to set up a barrier on the high side of my chicken pen to divert the water from the spring above. My ladies told me they're tired of wearing hip boots!

A number of these Sport Illustrated forecasters have LA Chargers winning this weekend, a couple even next weekend.

Yeah, some still do, but you'll need an antennae upgrade...
