Just done an upgrade of Linux Mint from 19.0 to 19.1. Time taken including the reboot 4 minutes. MS could learn from that.

Wish M$ would take notes on that even a kernel update is only a normal reboot.

Yep, think it's going to only get colder from this point on.

OK, so our roommate is broken up with her new BF....the one she was planning on moving out with.

From what I've pieced together talking to her yesterday I got this info:

2 boyfriends ago she was dating some guy off/on that would quit working every time they got back together, stay home & play vid games all day & smoke out. When she left, he went back to work, then when she came back he would quit working.

The BF before this one, she thought he was the one until she found out he was talking to his ex, that went back & forth for a while, he'd stop talking to her for a while, then start again & then she had enough & moved in with us.

This last one, he was secretly talking to his ex, they have a kid together, and the ex posted the convos they were having behind our roommates back on some social media for her to see.

I told her" "No offense, but hey, you really can pick em can't you?"

I asked her if the next time she dates someone, how about picking someone responsible, stable & has a steady job....and doesn't do drugs/booze as a hobby.
