I wondered if you right click and Archive whether it would create an Archive folder but no, to see archived emails you have to look in the All Mail folder.

Wierd, but I love the new folder Archives..... No need for all mail since I archive old stuff. I can load the web gmail if I need to get to anything I star or w/e.

So it's not a Gmail folder, it's one created by Thunderbird.

I have rebooted and restarted Tbird. I don't know why it is there, but I am loving it. Like I said, 64bit Tbird with gmail, via IMAP and it shows as in my pic.
If it was a Tbird folder it would not be in the gmail folder hierarchy, right?
