So, if I'm understanding you correctly, you should see one or the other of these two (they're both the same) in Device Manager:

HD Audio CODEC or High Definition Audio CODEC.

So, click on that, then follow the instructions Andre gives until you get to #6. At that point, click on HD Audio CODEC and it should install the new driver.

I did Wynona and the only codec available to me was the one I already had and it failed to install.

Still sorting thru attempted fixes to solve the email not showing in the Tbird Inbox when arriving. I just checked and found something on Mozillazine about it. It said to unsubscribe the All Mail folder, which I did and the first email that came through, it showed in the Inbox like it should.....and the All Mail folder showed a (1) AFTER unsubscribing to it hahahhaha. Will see if this fixes it. I can just take the All Mail out of favorite folders if it does. Not sure why in the blue hale, it started showing new mails in there after unsubbing to it lol.
