Typical work time in the field is about 10 to 20 minutes. I missed a good picture when there were 20 or more bees coming in with pollen baskets full. I am guessing there were about 5 pounds of bees working from my several hives on the scale with about 5000 bees to the pound.

Edit: Just tried it. Mine is not IDT and there is only the non IDT driver so no luck there. It not really an issue for me as it's only in a VM where the sound is awful anyway so I can wait for MS to fix it.

@kado897 Keith, click on your own sound "card" in #1, then when you get to #6, don't click your sound card, click on "High Definition Audio CODEC" instead.

I understand that Wynona but I don't have an IDT codec at all just a plain HD audio and it doesn't start.

I understand you have no IDT. There is a large variety of sound cards; some are built into the mobo and some are plugged into a PCI slot; doesn't matter what you have at this point.

So, if I'm understanding you correctly, you should see one or the other of these two (they're both the same) in Device Manager:

HD Audio CODEC or High Definition Audio CODEC.

So, click on that, then follow the instructions Andre gives until you get to #6. At that point, click on HD Audio CODEC and it should install the new driver.

If you don't have the IDT sound card, click on your own sound card's High Definition Audio CODEC in Step 1 and go from there, paying special attention to #6!
