Well every email that has came through so far is showing for me... no issues as of yet.

EDIT: I just sent a test email to myself and the *** **** happened again. Inbox (1) and nothing in it. Good bye Tbird, you will be missed.

Maybe T-Bird knew it was coming from its own outbox?

I didn't send with Tbird. I used a test email site. It really drives me crazy when I click the notification from Tbird and it takes me to showing the Inbox with it showing Inbox (1) and there is nothing in it. If clicking the notification would open the email (as it should, duh) then maybe the issue would not happen. I don't get that much email and when I do, it is annoying as hell to have to click off the Inbox and then back on it to show the email since clicking the notification will not open it.

All it took was reading one email in Windows 10 Mail to see the blinding *** bright white background in the email....... removed its access and deleted the account in it. I decided to remove access to my my gmail from Tbird and then re auth it. Maybe this will fix it.

I don't use the "user folders" or local folders I think Tbird calls it. I am going to check into using that and see if the issue happens. If it doesn't have the issue doing that, I will be happy. I only need it to show the blasted emails when I click the notification, since no dev that works on Tbird realizes that clicking a notification should open the email....

I do not get notifications unless I leave T-Bird open and I don't do that.

Well it appears I would have to use POP instead of IMAP for the local folders to work the way I want. That is a no go for me.
