Morning everybody. Bat hurting from working outside the last two days while the weather was so Nice so Bat just gonna copy this (old post) from VLC Forum.
"When I run it, VLC will launch, and even play the files, but it will not expand to a real window, it just remains an icon on the bottom of the taskbar, and I cannot open it. I can right click on it, and select properties (tried playing with those, but nothing seemed to help), and I’ve tried seeing if I can select the window some where I’m not seeing, tried hot keys like F to try to make it full screen, and a suggestion to select the icon in the task bar, hold down windows key, then use arrow keys to try to place it somewhere I can see.
So far, the only place I can get VLC to exist is just an icon on the taskbar. "
Fortunately unlike Chrome in 1803 all it took was uninstalling with REVO and re-installing on 1809 and it started working again. Don't remember see that posted ?
