    I am not sure why the error the ONE TIME and then afterwards being prompted. Kado did you get the prompt from WDC about turning it on?

    Done it to me more than just one time......more like 3 or 4 times...until I turned it off in 2 places, then rebooted.

    I think because of the registry it needs a reboot.

    Bottom line WDC should not override a persons personal settings in Windows!!! We should have a switch in WDC to turn it off from checking.

    That kind of stuff really ticks me off. I have my system the way I want it. A cleaning program should not be messing with settings, only files and folders.

    Windows 10 1809 and windows 10 19H1. I used the reg file in 1809 before I started to dual boot and way before 1809 was installed. It was like this when I updated from 7 as I never used it there either.

    If you use a REG hack, you have to re boot for it to take place. This is why WDC does not do this to me only you two noobs.
