    So you gotta wonder about kids today sometimes.

    Her friend just got up & said her ex BF kept texting her all night & kept her awake & wouldn't let her get to sleep.

    Here's a thought I said, have you ever tried turning the phone off? You know you can do that if you don't want to be bothered. As far as I know you're not under obligation to answer any texts.

    Most phones these days have a DO NOT DISTURB you can turn on. Mine lets me set "favorite" contacts that can get through the DND but anyone else is stuck in silence. It will not alert for anything but alarms and favorites. Not even voicemail will make a sound.

    She probably has that feature but chose not to use it....go figure.....

    My small Samsung flip phone is off until I need to place a call.
