Never understood how such a simple thing as clicking a link in email to open in your browser, was such a luxury, until it didn't work

Not sure if I posted this about the clean install.... It took 12.5 minutes from the time I rebooted to the MCT usb and the first desktop in 1809.
Clean install have always been much faster than upgrades.

Very true! I cannot remember how long it took in other Win10 versions but I do remember installing XP in under 10 minutes. Considering how far we have came since those days, 12 and half minutes is not bad at all. Especially on 5 year old hardware.

You are probably not old enough to remember DOS and Windows 3.1. Had to install it with about 20 Floppy Disks. Took a long time.

When I was in College I learned Assembly Language on a TRS-80 Model 4. It had two 5 1/4 inch Floppy Drives. The one on the left was for Dos and the one on the right was where your programs were stored. Those Floppies were really floppy. Heck they could have been 8 inch ones.

Speaking of the old 5.25 and the other smaller ones... I wonder how many it would take to hold the same amount of space on a 128GB usb flash drive

    Good morning / afternoon folks.

Feels like it's below freezing this morn, I see some ice on the neighbors roof.

Had a full house last night, fortunately only for about 2 1/2 hrs.
