I found that MR v 7.1.3317 will not work at all in 18282 and v 7.2.3858 RE still does not work for me in this build either. Looks like I will be stuck using PE.
    That sux Josey

I used to have a 3ware raid card that Windows 7 wouldn't detect on an install by default. I had to either put them on a floppy or slipstream them into a new install disc. It was such a pain.

It is really not that big of a deal, PE works for me, and 3317 still works in 1809.

Unless you need WiFi support I don't see what RE gives you.

I don't use it or have it, so I will use PE, I don't mind the extra space since I have a iTB SSD.

I was about to post that I cannot see one difference in my rescue media... in terms of using it to restore.... since going to WinRE.

I will say the RE did work perfectly for me when I actually needed it. I had a program that would not accept me copying a folder into the %appdata% area. There was no way to get the information into the clean install. So I made an image of my install in progress, loaded up MR rescue and loaded the previous image I made before the install. Backed up the data using the program itself. Then reloaded my clean install and finished up.

Not sure if I posted this about the clean install.... It took 12.5 minutes from the time I rebooted to the MCT usb and the first desktop in 1809.

Cool, Windows 10 recognizes my KB & Mouse do not understand why MR won't.

It doesn't make sense if the WinRE is using the MS files from your PC. Makes no sense at all.

I think it is downloaded from MS but they should know what I have, I still have a ticket open. Not all that concerned about it.

You would think the mouse and keyboard in this day and age would NOT be an issue.
